While in the current climate, no fans burn effigies or pelt stones at cricketers’ houses, there are ugly fights on social media on daily basis among the Kohli and Sharma fan groups.
After toiling hard in the field for 4 and a half sessions, bowling Australia out for 469, India had a poor start with the bat.

This also triggered some fans who trolled the former India skipper. Countering this, Kohli fans reminded Sharma fans of Rohit having a banana during the India-Pakistan T20 WC 2022 match in Melbourne.
While the Indian players give their best on the field to win the match for their country, these fans fight among themselves and shamelessly bring down their countrymen.
