Yoga Guru Sadhguru’s Special Tweet For Virat Kohli Is Going Viral

Yoga Guru Sadhguru on Sunday hailed the legacy of Virat Kohli after he stepped down from the position of Test captain. Virat Kohli, who is hailed as one of the greatest cricketers to have played the game for team India, left everyone shocked as he chose to walk away from the Indian Test captaincy, bringing down the curtains on his captaincy career with team India.

Virat Kohli’s announcement was followed by a three-match Test series defeat against South Africa. Earlier, he had left the captaincy in ODIs and T20Is too. Virat Kohli will be hailed as the most successful Indian Test captain. having won 40 out of 68 Test matches.

In fact, he is also the fourth -most successful Test captain in the history of Test cricket. Apart from him, the captains who have won more Tests in international cricket are Steve Waugh (41 Test wins), Ricky Ponting (48 Test wins), and Graeme Smith (53 Test wins).

In the last seven years of his tenure as captain, Virat Kohli took the Indian cricket team to the number 1 position and registered some memorable wins, including three Tests in England, two in South Africa, and two in Australia.

Meanwhile, a tweet of Yoga Guru Sadhguru has gone viral on the internet. In his Tweet, Sadhguru hailed Virat Kohli for his fiery leadership and for his extraordinary batting prowess. He wrote:

“Fiery leadership that set a Billion Hearts on fire. May this allow him to explore his Extraordinary Batting Prowess to the fullest. His spirited way of conducting the arena will be missed. -Sg @imVkohli #ViratKohli”

Though, Virat Kohli has resigned from the position of Test captaincy, he will continue to lead the Indian cricket team as a full-time batter. Kohli’s next project with team India in the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, that will kickstart from 19th January 2022.
