Harbhajan Singh Praised Jonty Rhodes’ ‘Indianness’ On Twitter And Fans Agreed With Him

The former South African cricketer, Jonty Rhodes is currently in India ahead of the upcoming edition of the best T20 league in the world, the Indian Premier League. The 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starts from March 29.

Rhodes, who reached India already for the upcoming IPL edition, is enjoying each and every moment by visiting different places in the country. Adding to that, he also uploads pictures on his social media accounts.

Recently, the former South African posted a picture of taking a dip in the holy Ganga river of India. The off-spinner from India, Harbhajan Singh, who saw the picture, made a funny request to Rhodes. Jonty Rhodes posted a picture with a caption of “Benefits of cold water immersion in the Holy Ganges are both physical and spiritual #moksha #rishikesh.”

Harbhajan did not waste his time and made a request in a funny manner to the South African player. The off-spinner replied, “You have seen more India than me my friend.. good to see you enjoying and having a dip in holy Ganga ? next time take me along.”

Jonty Rhodes, who previously worked in the Mumbai Indians camp, will work as fielding coach for the Kings XI Punjab franchise this season. On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh played an important role in the Chennai Super Kings last season. He would look to replicate the same form this season for his franchise.
