Kings XI Punjab won their third match last night beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by runs. What an epic match it was, all thanks to Chris Gayle for making the match worth watching.
Before this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad had won all the matches they had played. This match was their first defeat in the tournament. Thus, the victory was huge for Kings XI Punjab.
Kings XI Punjab, before winning the match won the toss and chose to bat first and they gave a thrilling performance.
Chris Gayle was on a rocket mode today, he set the ground on fire by giving an exceptional performance. He remained unbeaten at 104 runs which he scored in 64 balls. He smashed 11 sixes and 1 fours and made everyone’s jaw drop with his thrilling shots.
As he was playing his innings the chances of winning for KXIP were growing tremendously. However, the celebrations had started before the team won the match and the celebrations were started by none other than Yuvraj Singh.
As soon as Chris Gayle scored a century, Yuvraj Singh started wild celebrations and happiness was clearly reflecting on his face.
