Yuvraj Singh Comes Up With A Hilarious Reply To Parthiv Patel’s Net Session: The Indian cricketing fraternity was abuzz on Thursday, July 6, when retired wicketkeeper-batter Patel posted a video on Instagram. In this clip, he was seen intensively practicing in the nets, hinting at his much-anticipated return to cricket. Notably, Parthiv Patel bid adieu to competitive cricket back in December 2020, concluding his international career with a tally of 1706 runs.

Immediately following the video upload, former teammate and close friend, Yuvraj Singh, seized the opportunity to cheekily comment. He humorously advised Parthiv to stick to golf instead, inciting laughter among the fans. Despite this lighthearted banter, Patel seemed undeterred, intent on honing his cricketing skills.

Yuvi wrote: “Golf khel bhai yeh kya kar raha hai (Play Golf, brother. What are you doing?)”

Gearing Up for the Zim Afro T10 League: Parthiv Patel’s Cricketing Return and Yuvraj Singh’s reply

Before his retirement, Patel had a commendable run in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He amassed 2848 runs in 139 matches, establishing a respectable record in the prestigious tournament. Now, after hanging up his gloves in the international arena, he is preparing to step back onto the cricketing field.

In fact, Parthiv is among a notable group of retired Indian cricketers planning to participate in the inaugural season of the Zim Afro T10 League. This emerging cricket tournament is a sister league to the Abu Dhabi T10 League and is gaining attention from cricket enthusiasts globally.

Five teams have been lined up for the maiden edition of this league. The teams include Harare Hurricanes, Bulawayo Braves, Cape Town Samp Army, Durban Qalandars, and Joburg Buffaloes. These squads will clash to claim the coveted trophy in this inaugural cricketing event.

The Zim Afro T10 League is slated to take place from July 20 to July 29. Interestingly, all the matches will be played in Harare, setting the stage for thrilling cricketing action in the heart of Zimbabwe.

Parthiv Patel isn’t the only prominent name in the Zim Afro T10 League. Several other Indian cricketers like Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Stuart Binny, and Sreesanth will also feature in this T10 cricket tournament. Moreover, Patel will be donning the jersey of the Cape Town Samp Army, adding more excitement to the upcoming matches.

To conclude, while Yuvraj Singh may have advised Parthiv to stick to golf, the determined wicketkeeper-batter is seemingly excited to face the cricketing challenge ahead. His training video not only surprised fans but also ignited anticipation for his upcoming performance in the Zim Afro T10 League. So, as the cricket world watches, only time will tell how successful this new chapter in Parthiv Patel’s cricketing journey will be.
