Over the years, the Indian cricket team has given us many iconic moments to cherish for lifetime. Amongst all, one of the most loved iconic moment involving an Indian cricketer is when Yuvraj Singh created history by smashing Stuart Broad for 6 sixes in 6 balls.

Though it has been many years to that moment, but the memories of that moment are still etched to everyone’s minds. The Indian cricket fans can never forget that moment as it also served as the launch pad for the Indian team to go and win the World Cup title.

Meanwhile, Stuart Broad, the legendary England cricketer who was once hit by Yuvraj Singh for 6 sixes in an over, has now went on to join the elite list of bowlers as he picked up his 500th Test wicket and guided Team England to victory in third Test match against West Indies at Old Trafford.

Social media is flooded with amazing reactions from the fans and cricketers around the world, alike, who are showering praises on Stuart Broad for his achievement. However, the best tweet came from none other than Yuvraj Singh himself. With his tweet, Yuvraj Singh won everyone’s hearts with his kind gesture towards Stuart Broad.

In his tweet, Yuvraj Singh made an appeal to his fans to applaud for the ‘legend’ Stuart Broad and his achievement and not think of him getting hit for 6 sixes. He also expressed how it is not easy to achieve this milestone. Yuvraj wrote:

“I’m sure everytime I write something about @StuartBroad8, people relate to him getting hit for 6 sixes! Today I request all my fans to applaud what he has achieved! 500 test wickets is no joke-it takes hard work, dedication & determination. Broady you’re a legend! Hats off”

The same guy who got hit for six sixes in an over now has 500 scalps to his name with plenty more to go.
That shows howsoever you start does not matter
where you end up does. pic.twitter.com/ARFb69CXso

In asia you will see players quitting test cricket to play t20s & leagues but broad and anderson have done the other way around… This will motivate young english cricketers to focus more on test cricket !!

This notion of me about you dates back to 2010. If you hadn’t gone through that phase, MSD would have been overshadowed by you.
Anyhow you have gathered immense courage and patience that no one in this sport possess.

— Shaik Javeed (@skj_cnct) July 29, 2020

Right!! I dont understand why people try to relate T20 Cricket with test cricket. Broad is a legend of test cricket. Some bad records in T20 do not make him some less in test.
