IPL 2017: Kings XI Punjab let their fans down in a do or die match against Rising Pune Supergiants on Sunday. Punjab needed to win the match to qualify for playoffs. But they gave a very disappointing performance and they were all but out of the game after being shot out in only 15.5 overs.
KXIP scored just 73 runs and Axar Patel was the top-scorer with 22 runs while Wriddhiman Saha’s 13 was the next best.
At a time when the fans are dejected with their team’s performance, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s swashbuckling all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who started his IPL career with Kings XI Punjab, posted a beautiful message for KXIP fans and Preity Zinta.
