Yuvraj Singh says he has nothing to do with his father Yograj’s remarks about MS Dhoni

Yuvraj Singh has distant himself from his father Yograj Singh who launched a full-fledged attack on India’s captain MS Dhoni accusing him of being arrogant and selfish.

Yuvraj Singh broke his silence and came out defending his teammate MS Dhoni.

Yuvraj Singh, who has a played of his cricket under the leadership of MS Dhoni, tweeted:

“Iv got nothing to do with statements coming out in the media ! As iv said before enjoyed playing under dhoni no issues at all” (sic).

Yuvraj also congratulated MS Dhoni for being a father and said, he is eager to MS Dhoni during the course of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

“I look forward to meet msd and congratulate him on becoming a father !”(sic)

Earlier, Yograj Singh had accused MS Dhoni of being arrogant and he also said the Indian captain is worse than Ravana. Yograj also said that Dhoni made fun of the media and all his fans by laughing and joking in the press conference after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 semi-final. Yograj said if he were a journalist, he would have slapped him really hard.

According to a report by ibnlive.in, Yograj launched a tirade against Dhoni on a Hindi news channel.

“Dhoni was nothing. He has become a God in cricket just because of media. Media has crowned him as a great which he never deserved. There was a time when he had nothing but today he sits in front of media and rips off media persons. He laughs at media who has given him so much hype. He laughs at Indian people who clap when he scores a run. Honestly, if I were a media person, I would have slapped Dhoni right there,” said Yograj.
