Yuvraj Singh Wrote A Special Message For Indian Women’s Team: The Indian cricket team put on a stellar show to create history by securing the country’s first-ever medal in cricket in the history of the Commonwealth Games (CWG). The Indian team has reached the final match after defeating hosts England in a nail-biting clash at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Smriti Mandhana Gave A Sensational Performance

After winning the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur chose to bat first. Smriti Mandhana gave a sensational start to the Indian team as she broke her own record while registering the fastest half-century by an Indian in T20I cricket.

Smriti reached the 50-run mark in just 23 balls. During her knock, she broke her own record to complete the fastest half-century by Indian women batter in T20I cricket history. Though, Mandhana was dismissed after scoring 61 runs, but she had done her job and set up a good platform for the remaining batters.

However, Harmanpreet had a poor outing as she managed to make just 20 runs after facing as many deliveries. Jemimah Rodrigues also continued with her fine run of form with the bat as she scored an unbeaten knock of 44 runs in 31 balls to help the women’s cricket team put a massive total of 174 runs on the scoreboard.

Sneh Rana Produced A Magical Spell

In reply, England kickstarted their knock in a blockbuster way with Sophia Dunkey and Danielle Wyatt looking to replicate Mandhana’s heroics but the Indian bowlers had some other plans. Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana produced some magical spells to ensure India was able to get the game back on track.

Rana held her nerve throughout the game and bowled an incredible over to help the Women in Blue win the thrilling clash by 4 runs.

Meanwhile, social media went berserk after India’s stunning win in the semifinal round. From cricketers and experts to fans, everyone took to social media to hail the mighty women of India.

Former Indian cricketer and World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh also posted a beautiful message for the Women in Blue. In his Tweet, he congratulated the Team for creating history. He also wished reminded the team that they have the support of whole country with them. He wrote:
