There’s excitement in the whole cricket fraternity ever since the news of the appointment of Sourav Ganguly as the new president of BCCI came out. It is very rare that we see fans getting excited and optimistic about changes in the administration. Sourav Ganguly, who is known as the godfather of the modern-day cricket, transformed the game when he was given the captaincy with his strong decisions. And now people are expecting the same transformation in the cricket board as well.

On Friday, Yuvraj Singh, who made his debut under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly, took to his twitter and wrote an emotional message for the new BCCI president. In his tweet, Yuvraj wrote that he is hopeful that Sourav Ganguly will make others understand cricket from a player’s point of view. He wrote:

“Greater the man greatest the journey! Frm IndianCaptain to @BCCI president.Think it will b a gr8 insight 4 a cricketer to be an administrator & make others understand admin frm a players point of view Wish u were d president while d yoyo was in demand?good luck dadi? @SGanguly99,”

Sourav Ganguly was quick to respond to Yuvraj’s tweet and was all praise for his ex-teammate, he wrote:
