But seems like he isn’t just the favorite of Indian cricketers but also shares a strong bond with the foreign cricketers as well. His recent banter with New Zealand’s all-rounder Martin Guptil has left everyone in splits. Recently, he found himself at the receiving end of a Hindi cuss word from Martin Guptil and that too on air.
Well, the hilarious incident happened after the match when the former Mumbai Indians teammates Martin Guptill and Rohit Sharma were talking to each other and Yuzvendra Chahal was back at his anchoring duties. Holding microphone in his hand, Chahal approached Martin Guptil and greeted him to which Guptill responded with “Kya hai G***u?”.
His reaction left Rohit Sharma in splits, while Chahal was taken aback by surprise. The video of the same went insanely viral on social media making everyone burst into laughter.
But seems like the fun isn’t over yet. One day after this hilarious moment, Yuzvendra Chahal once again went to Martin Guptill with his microphone to have some fun in his hotel room. Chahal asked him to repeat what he said on the camera. But this time Martin Guptill acted smartly and asked “What are you saying?” to which Chahal answered: “What you told me last night?”
Martin Guptill didn’t repeat the cuss word again and said: “Ayee, you know what I told you last night!” . His response left Chahal in splits.
