Yuzvendra Chahal Gave A Hilarious Reaction To Rohit Sharma’s Scolding

India’s new limited-overs skipper Rohit Sharma has got off to a terrific start with a series win over the West Indies with a game to go in Ahmedabad.

In the second ODI India managed to defend 237 by 44 runs. However, the game was still alive and threatened to get closer when the West Indies tailenders Odean Smith and Alzarri Joseph were batting.

In that moment of intensity, Rohit Sharma flipped out on leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. While setting the field, the skipper scolded Chahal for being slow when asked to run in the deep.

“Ek kaam kar peeche jaa, idhar aa. Kya hua tereko bhaag kyu nahi raha hai theek se? Chal udhar bhaag,” Sharma was heard yelling to Yuzvendra Chahal.

As the video went viral, Chahal felt the need to reply back. And he did it in his funny way.

He hilariously replied: “Captain ka hukum sarankhon par” with emojis of walking! However, Chahal soon deleted this reply, but fans had already taken screenshots of this.

Chahal was Man of the Match in the first ODI for his brilliant bowling figures of 4/49 that helped in restricting West Indies to 176. In the second ODI, on a surface that didn’t offer as much help as in the first and while bowling in the effect of dew, Chahal kept things tight with figures of 1/45 in his 10 overs as India defended a below-par total.

Prasidh Krishna was the bowler who starred in the second ODI with his hostile, aggressive fast bowling – a display of characteristic hard length bowling to which the visitors had no answer. Krishna was Man of the Match for his stunning figures that read 9-3-12-4.

The third ODI will be played on Friday. India would want to try out different players and combinations while West Indies would want a boost ahead of the T20I series.
