India’s middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer failed to live up to the expectations of the fans as he succumbed to another unlucky dismissal during the India vs New Zealand ICC ODI World Cup 2023 clash.
Chasing a total of 274 runs, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started well but were dismissed in quick succession. Rohit missed out on a quickfire fifty by just 4 runs as he was dismissed on 46 runs (off 40 balls), on the other hand, Gill scored 26 in 31 balls.
Iyer then joined hands with Virat Kohli to steady the ship, but as the duo stitched together a partnership before Trent Boult struck to get rid of Shreyas Iyer on 33 runs.

Well, after doing some research, we found out that the viral tweet hadn’t been made by Yuzvendra Chahal but some random person has shared this tweet via a parody account.
For the unversed, Dhanashree was accused of cheating on Yuzvendra Chahal with Shreyas Iyer after the two were spotted during a Ramadan party and many other events following that. However, the accusations were false as she is a close friend to Shreyas Iyer and went to the party with her.
