Yuzvendra Chahal’s Instagram Story For Jos Buttler Has Gone Viral

Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022, England and Australia kicked off their 3-T20I series with a entertaining high-scoring encounter at the Perth Stadium, Perth.

England captain Jos Buttler, who had missed all the 7 T20Is in Pakistan due to injury, marked his return with a thunderous innings, blasting 68 runs off 32 balls in a blistering opening stand of 132 runs in 11.2 overs with Alex Hales, who finished with 84 runs off 51 balls, as the visitors posted a daunting total of 208. Buttler’s knock included 8 well-placed fours and 4 gigantic sixes.

However, no target is daunting when you have David Warner in your side. The Player of the Tournament in last year’s T20 World Cup in the UAE, where Australia won their maiden T20 world title, Warner has whacked a 29-ball fifty and Australia are 111/3 in 11 overs at the time of writing this piece.

Yuzvendra Chahal posts an Insta story applauding “Jos Bhai”

The Indian cricket team is also in Perth, where they have been training at the WACA Stadium. Team India will play a couple of warm-up games against hosts Western Australia XI at the WACA.

The Indian players came to watch the England-Australia match and were seen enjoying this thrilling encounter from the stands.

Present among them was also leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who didn’t miss this opportunity to praise his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals teammate Jos Buttler.

Chahal posted a picture of Buttler walking back to the dugout after playing a sizzling knock and captioned it: “WELL PLAYED JOS BHAI”

Chahal and Buttler spent the IPL 2022 season together, where they helped the Royals reach the final. Both were also involved in some hilarious social media antics with the RR admin.

Here is the snapshot of Yuzvendra Chahal’s Instagram story:

Meanwhile, Chahal, who didn’t get to play in any of the 3 T20Is against South Africa as India played off-spinner Ashwin to target South Africa’s left-handers, has blown hot and cold in recent months. His place in India’s best T20I eleven is not certain anymore and he’d want to prove his detractors wrong at the T20 World Cup.
