However, these days MS Dhoni has become a topic of debate everywhere as he failed to leave a mark with his performance in the just concluded in the T20I and ODI series against England and for the same reason, he has been on the receiving end of all the criticism.

While a few cricketers are criticizing him and the management for Dhoni’s performance, many cricketers have come forward and supported the former skipper, including Sachin Tendulkar.

Recently, in an interview, the former cricketer, Zaheer Khan was also asked about the same. Zaheer Khan has also come in support for the former skipper as he believes that he is still the best player India has got. Zaheer Khan also talked about the retirement rumors of MS Dhoni, he said :

“If the team management has persisted with him till now, they might as well do it till the World Cup,”

He added :

“Dhoni has performed the difficult job of captaining India for years. His experience could prove to be extremely beneficial. He is as good as we have got,”

Dhoni will be seen back in action when Asia Cup 2018 gets underway. According to the schedule India will play their first game on September 18th that will held at Dubai International Stadium. And yet again all the eyes will be on MS Dhoni, especially after his slow performance in the test series.
