Another day, another worst performance by Prithvi Shaw: The Indian opening cricketer Prithvi Shaw has found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling after he failed to perform once again during the second innings of the ongoing first day-night Test match against Australia.
Prithvi Shaw has been out of form for a long time now. After a series of failures in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League Prithvi Shaw failure to find his spark in the warm-up games against Australia A. Well, ahead of the ongoing first Test match against Australia the Indian A locked their horns with Australia A and during the two-warm up games, Prithvi Shaw failed miserably.
But despite a series of failures, he was picked for the opening position and was backed by the Indian team management and skipper Virat Kohli for the first test, however, Prithvi failed to make use of the opportunity. The cricketer was dismissed for a duck off the second ball during the first innings of the test match.
And now during the second innings of the ongoing test match, Prithvi was dismissed bowled by Pat Cummins within the first over. He could only manage to score 4 runs.
