After winning the Test series against England, team India thrashed England in the just-concluded 5-match Test series by 3-1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Virat Kohli and company gave a stunning performance in all the departments of the game and dominated over England cricketers from the word go in the series-decider match.

As the match-kickstarted, the fans were left in shock after the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who usually bats at number 3, walked out to open the innings for team India alongwith the regular opener Rohit Sharma. It was a sight to behold for the fans as they together gave a flying start to team India. Both the stunning performers gave powerful performances.

While Rohit scored 64 runs off just 34 balls before he was dismissed by Ben Stokes. His powerful knock was laced by 4 fours and 5 stunning sixes. On the other hand, Virat scored 80 runs off 52 balls, where he smashed 7 fours and 2 sixes.

After Rohit’s dismissal, Suryakumar Yadav stole the show with his blistering batting. He scored 32 runs off 17 balls, smashing 3 fours and 2 fours. Hardik Pandya too gave a stunning performance of 39 runs off 17 balls.

Later, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shardul Thakur stole the show with their amazing bowling performances as they restricted the England batsmen to chase down the target of 224 runs. Dawid Malan (68) and Jos Buttler (52) were the top scorers from England’s side.

Thakur once again came to India’s rescue as he picked 3 crucial wickets, which eventually turned tables for team India. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also picked 2 wickets, while Hardik Pandya and T Natarajan picked one wicket each.
