The defending champions, India could not defend their ICC U19 World Cup title successfully as the boys from Bangladesh overcame a challenge from them by 3 wickets in the final of ICC U19 World Cup 2020. Bangladesh U-19s were playing their first-ever U-19 finale and they showed no nerves at all as they beat the star-studded Indian team. No one gave Bangladesh a chance to win this game however, Akbar Ali and co. showed that they are here to rule the future.

Talking about the match first, India U19s could only post 177 runs on the board courtesy of some fine bowling performances from Avishek Das, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Shoriful Islam.
