Australia, Australia, Australia! What a match! What a win! The Australian cricketers hammered the winning juggernaut of Pakistan by thrashing them in the must-win clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. The Babar Azam-led Pakistani team was invincible throughout the tournament and it is going to be a hard defeat to swallow.
What a thrilling run chase it was. The powerful batting performance by the Pakistan cricket team gave them a fine platform and the way they bowled, it was their game however, the partnership between Marcus Stoinis and Matthew Wade crushed the hopes of entire Pakistan.
Matthew Wade turned back the clock as he donned the cape of Michael Hussey and gave Shaheen Afridi the same treatment that Hussey once gave to Saeed Ajmal in the 2010 T20 World Cup. But before Matthew Wade went bonkers with the bat in the 19th over, he was dropped by Hasan Ali, and probably that moment changed the whole game.
Shadab Khan’s bowling effort where he picked the crucial wickets of David Warner (49), Steve Smith (5), Mitchell Marsh (28), and Glenn Maxwell (7 ) went into vain. Earlier, Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan played yet another scintillating knock as he helped his team post a target of 176 runs. However, the stunning knock also went in vain.
