Memes on Krunal Pandya: It was a great day for Rajasthan Royals as they won their opening match of phase 2 of the Indian Premier League by defeating Punjab Kings after a nail-biting finish. RR all-rounder Mahipal Lomror provided the exact momentum, the team needed to win that match.
Mahipal Lomror played a stunning knock of 43 runs off 17 balls, smashing 2 fours and 4 sixes. However, the highlight of his knock was the 24-run over that he scored against all-rounder Deepak Hooda.
Deepak Hooda returned with a disappointing 37 runs off his two overs, having a terrible day with the ball. Later on, he was disappointed with the bat as well, as he was dismissed for a duck.
Meanwhile, fans on social media started trolling Deepak Hooda after his dismal performance. From hilarious memes to jokes, people are trolling him left, right, and center for his poor performance. However, Mumbai Indians’ star all-rounder Krunal Pandya also started trending on Twitter after Hooda’s disappointing performance.
For the unversed, a few months back, Deepak Hooda had allegedly claimed that Krunal had abused him and as a result, he had withdrawn his name from Baroda’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad. Therefore, netizens thought that Krunal Pandya will be the happiest man right now after Hooda’s disappointing performance.

Earlier in the day, RR got off to a sensational start thanks to some amazing performance from Evin Lewis upfront. He scored 36 runs off 21 balls, hitting seven fours and a six. Lewis and Sanju Samson departed in quick succession before Yashasvi Jaiswal also made small cameos.
However, thanks to some sensational death bowling from Mohammad Shami and Arshdeep Singh, the Royals ended 15 runs short. Later, Punjab Kings’ openers Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul gave a flying start to their team. They formed a formidable partnership of 120-runs in 11.5 overs.
Everyone had already started celebrating Punjab Kings’ victory and there was no way that Rajasthan Royals would have stolen it, however, Rajasthan Royals’ Kartik Tyagi stole the show with his brilliant last over and won the match for his team.
