Every sportsman get injured in his career once or several times. There have been instances when some players carried on with the game despite an injury and played for their team.  Their dedication for the sport that they love is immense.

Virat Kohli




In an IPL match, Kohli played with split webbing and scored his 4th hundred of the season. He made 113 off just 50 deliveries.

Anil Kumble




Kumble broke his jaw while facing Mervyn Dillon as he batted. But, he came on to bowl in the next innings and picked up the wicket of Brian Lara.

Gary Kirsten

Kirsten was hit on the head by the fastest bowler in the world, Shoaib Akhtar but resumed his innings and made 55 runs.

Graeme Smith

The Proteas captain came out to bat at No.11 and helped his team to a draw.

Ian Bell

Bell played with a broken foot against Bangladesh.

Michael Clarke

The Aussie captain batted with a broken shoulder.

Stuart Broad

The ball entered his helmet and hit him on the nose. However, he continued to bat and bowl.

Wahab Riaz

Riaz was hit on the hand while fielding but still managed to bowl 9 overs for his team.

Malcolm Marshall

Windies player Marshall batted with one arm as he had his thumb injured.

Colin Cowdrey

The English batsman got his arm broken by Wes Hall. He decided to bat despite this. Colin made 25 runs to take his side to a victory.

Burt Sutcliffe

The Kiwi batsman was hit by the bouncer bowled by Neil Adcock but continued his innings and remained unbeaten on 80.
