The recurring song, “Restart,” accompanies pivotal moments for characters Manoj Sharma and Gauri Bhaiya in their UPSC exam endeavors. Despite Agni Dev Chopra’s move from Mumbai to Mizoram nearly a year after the song’s creation, he retains a profound connection to it, emphasizing the enduring impact of his father Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s work. The song serves as a timeless element, resonating with the audience and creating a lasting emotional link between the filmmaker’s personal journey and the cinematic narrative of “12th Fail.”
“There is a connection now but the song was written a year before I moved to Mizoram. I moved to Mizoram in 2023. But that line is applicable everywhere in life,” he said.
25-year-old Agni has left a mark with his remarkable performance in just four matches, amassing a staggering 767 runs at an astonishing average of 95.87.
