In ODI cricket, the frequency of middle-order cricketers smashing a century is very less compared to that of the top-order batsmen. This is the reason, why on most of the occasions, some players remain unbeaten in the 90s because of the completion of overs. However, some people have been lucky enough to have reached their ton during the final ball of the team’s innings.

5. AB de Villiers vs India in 2015:

During an ODI match against India in Kanpur, former South African batsman AB de Villiers had scored an unbeaten 103 off 73 balls, including 5 fours and 6 sixes. During this innings, AB de Villiers smashed Umesh Yadav for the last ball of the innings with a six and completed his century.




4. Mohammad Yousuf vs Zimbabwe in 2002:

It was in the year 2020 when Pakistan toured Zimbabwe faced the hosts in a 5-match ODI series. During this series, Mohammad Yosuf was in sensational form as he smashed 159 in the 2nd Test, which was followed by an unbeaten 141 with 16 boundaries in the first ODI, which Zimbabwe won by seven runs. However, the most special knock came in during the third ODI, when he an unbeaten 100 off just 68 balls, hitting a six off the last ball of the innings.

3. Craig McMillan vs Pakistan in 2001:

Craig McMillan, the former New Zealand cricketer scored an outstanding century against the Pakistan cricket team at Christchurch in 2001. During this innings, Craig McMillan smashed an unbeaten 104 off just 75 balls, with the help of 6 fours and 5 sixes including the last ball six.

2. Kevin Pietersen vs South Africa in 2005:

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen scored a memorable century in the year 2005 against South Africa. During his innings, KP smashed South African Andre Nel on the last ball of the innings and completed his innings off 69 balls with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes.

1. Mohammad Yousuf vs India in 2000:

During the must-win game during the 2000 Asia Cup hosted by Bangladesh, when Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yusuf smashed an unbeaten century. During this innings, Mohammad Yusuf scored an unbeaten 100 runs with the help of 9 fours and a last-ball six.
