The ongoing Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament is the third edition of this competition that was started in 2022.

The Legends League Cricket (LLC) features many great former international cricket players who are now retired from international cricket. Many of them are over the age of 40 but continue to entertain the fans with their superb batting and bowling and enthrall them with some exceptional fielding displays for men of their age.

While the first two seasons of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament were held in Muscat and Doha respectively, this third edition is ongoing in India across five cities: Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Vizag, and Surat. The playoffs are being held in the city of Surat in Gujarat.

Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle, IPL

The Universe Boss Chris Gayle, who is arguably the greatest T20 batsman of all-time, is the second-leading run-scorer in the Legends League Cricket. Gayle scored 203 runs in 4 innings at a strike rate of 153 with two fifties. Opening for the Gujarat Giants, Gayle smashed 84 off 55 balls in the Eliminator, but his team lost the match.

Dwayne Smith

Former West Indies and CSK all-rounder Dwayne Smith is the leading run-scorer in the LLC 2023. Playing for the Urbanrisers Hyderabad, Dwayne Smith scored 213 runs at a strike rate of 162 with one century and a fifty to his name. Smith whacked 120 off just 53 balls in Qualifier 1, which helped his team enter the final.

Gautam Gambhir

Former India batsman and two-time World Cup winner Gautam Gambhir has been on song for most of the Legends League Cricket tournament. Gambhir has unleashed a beast within himself by scoring his 144 runs at a terrific strike rate of 169, which included two half-centuries. Gambhir is captaining the India Capitals team which has reached the Qualifier 2, and is only one step away from the final.

Kevin Pietersen

Kevin Pietersen, Legends League Cricket (LLC)

Talk about staggering strike rates and one name pops up: Kevin Pietersen. The stylish former England batsman has plundered 169 runs at a strike rate of 177, cracking a couple of quickfire fifties. His highest score of 77 came in only 48 balls.

Legends League Cricket (LLC): Isuru Udana

Former Sri Lanka left-arm pacer Isuru Udana is the second-highest wicket-taker in the LLC tournament, at the time of writing. Udana has taken 8 wickets in 5 innings.
