1. Jasprit Bumrah
He has emerged as the best death bowler in limited overs cricket in the past. His variations and awareness while bowling make his present indispensable. He’s a regular with the Indian team owing to this great bowling traits and there’s no reason why the Mumbai Indians would let him go. Bumrah must surely stay and lead the pace attack for the Mumbai Indians. The 24 year old is a master for limited overs.
2. Hardik Pandaya
He’s already being compared with Kapil Dev and that’s a reason big enough to keep him in your team. If not with the bowl, the 24 year all rounder would win you matches with ten willow. Everyone knows what Hardik is capable of with his all round capabilities.
Just like Bumrah he too is mandatory presence for the Indian side, just about the all rounder India ever needed. This fact speaks for his worth and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t feature in the Mumbai Indians line up. Amongst the entire pool Hardik carries the maximum value addition.
3. Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is one the greatest openers in international cricket at present. He has led the Mumbai Indians amazingly after Sachin stepped down and in all probabilities he would be the captain of the side in IPL 2018 too.
The stunning opener holds the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs and is the only player to hit two double centuries in ODIs. He is an explosive batsman and he can win matches for you all by himself when he gets going.
4. Pollard
Just like Hardik Patel, Pollard adds great all round capabilities to the team. The pair is Hardik and Pollard is the best pair of all rounders among any other team in the IPL. Pollard is dangerous with both, bat and the ball and he brings utility with him in the lower middle order. If Mumbai Indians want to retain their title then they must retain this giant from Windies.
5. Simmons
Simmons has played some extravagant innings at the top of the order. He’s the perfect opener for Mumbai Indians and knows how to score quickly. This batsman from West Indies too must be retained to ensure great starts.
