PAK vs ENG: Iceland Cricket Trolls Pakistan Team Like A Boss

As Pakistan are on the verge of losing the ongoing Karachi Test and being whitewashed at home by Ben Stokes’ England team, the PCB and the Pakistan team have been heavily getting trolled on social media.

This is the second straight home series loss for Pakistan, after losing 1-0 to Australia in a 3-Test series earlier in the year.

England won the first two Tests that were fought closely by 74 runs in Rawalpindi and by 26 runs in Multan. In Karachi, though, by the end of Day 3, the visitors are well and truly in the driver’s seat and only 55 runs away from victory with 8 wickets in hand.

Pakistan team gets brutally trolled by Iceland Cricket Twitter handle

The official Twitter page of the Icelandic Cricket Association, @icelandcricket, took a hilarious dig at the PCB as Babar Azam’s team is close to another embarrassing home Test loss.

Corresponding to the Bazball and how they have batted since Stokes and McCullum joined hand, England in the second innings run-chase have scored 112 runs for 2 wickets in only 17 overs, batting at close to 7 runs an over.

The Iceland Cricket Twitter handle, though, hilariously mocked the Pakistan team, saying that they should be invited for a Test series and they won’t mind losing 3-0 and play at a run rate of 0.7 rather than 7.0 which England are doing.

“Message to @TheRealPCB, we are happy to come and tour Pakistan and lose 3-0, getting chopped up and sugared like marmalade. Just letting you know in the interests of balance. And we will score at 0.7 not 7.0 an over,” Iceland Cricket tweeted.

In the first innings, Pakistan scored 304 runs, Babar Azam top-scoring with 78. Jack Leach took 4 wickets while Ahmed took a brace. England replied with 354 runs of their won, taking a small but crucial lead of 50 runs. Young Harry Brook continued on his superb form to register another Test century. Abrar Ahmed and Nauman Ali took 4 wickets each.

Babar Azam again top-scored for Pakistan in the second innings with 54, but his side could only manage 216. England now stand only 55 runs away from creating history.
