Video: Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel Take Blessing At Balaji Temple In Tirupati

India cricketers Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel visited the Lord Balaji Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, recently. The pair took blessings from the god Balaji.

The Tirupati Balaji temple is one of the most famous temples in the world where devotees from across the planet come to seek blessing.

On Friday, November 3, the two Indian stars who are not part of the ongoing World Cup 2023 also visited this famous temple. After coming out of the temple, both posed for photographs with fans.

Rishabh Pant took to his Instagram to post some pictures of this holy visit.

He captioned his post: “Not enough words to describe the energy of the place . Didn’t feel like leaving the temple. Unbelievable positive energy & spiritual energy 🤍🤍.”

Both the players had spent the last month at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to recover from their respective injuries. While Axar Patel made his comeback in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, playing for Gujarat, Rishabh Pant’s comeback is expected next year. Both also play together in the IPL for Delhi Capitals.

Axar had missed out on the World Cup 2023 due to an injury that he’d sustained during the Asia Cup. India drafted in veteran off-spinner R Ashwin in place of Axar.

On his comeback in the SMAT for Gujarat, Patel didn’t pick a single wicket in two outings but cracked a half-century with the bat. He is likely to return to Team India for the T20I series against Australia after the World Cup 2023. However, if Hardik Pandya doesn’t recover from his ankle injury, then the management could ponder of drafting Axar in the squad given his improved batting performances in the past year.

Talking about Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman has been recovering well and even took part in a practice game at the NCA a month ago.

When will Rishabh Pant comeback?

Rishabh Pant is expected to make his comeback in IPL 2024. He is unlikely to play the Test series against England and South Africa.
