Will Rohit Sharma Lead India In The T20 World Cup? Find Out Here

Even as the clamour on social media around the Mumbai Indians captaincy drama involving Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and the fans refuses to cease, Rohit Sharma and his fans have received a piece of positive news about his India captaincy profile.

While Rohit won’t be the MI captain anymore, it hasn’t affected his stocks as India’s T20I captain and he remains the first-choice to lead India in next year’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. Dainik Jagran reportedly asked a top BCCI official whether Hardik would lead India in the T20 World Cup, and the response from the BCCI official was a firm “no”. The official added that Rohit is a “natural captain” and the BCCI is sticking with him.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is currently preparing to captain India in a 2-Test series in South Africa. India are aiming to win their maiden Test series in South Africa, who are likely to be without Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje.
