"Ek To Idhar Do Zero Hua Hai" Rohit Sharma's Hilarious Chat With The Umpire After First Leg-Bye

Rohit Sharma’s prowess in T20 cricket is nothing short of spectacular, making him one of the most dangerous and impactful batsmen in the format. With a remarkable combination of classical technique and innovative stroke play, Sharma has consistently delivered for his teams. His ability to adapt to various situations and play according to the demands of the game is a testament to his cricketing intelligence.

Rohit Sharma’s strength lies in his aggressive approach, backed by an extensive range of shots that can dismantle any bowling attack. His impeccable timing and extraordinary power make him a formidable force in the shortest format. The Indian captain has a proven track record of scoring big runs and setting new records in T20 internationals and domestic leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sharma’s proficiency in handling pace and spin alike adds an extra layer of unpredictability for the opposition. With numerous match-winning performances under his belt, Rohit Sharma continues to be a dangerous T20 batsman, capable of single-handedly changing the course of a game.

Rohit Sharma’s absence from T20 internationals since India’s exit in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final raised doubts about his participation in the subsequent T20 World Cup. However, he returned as the captain for the T20I series against Afghanistan just before the marquee event. Unfortunately, Sharma’s comeback was less than auspicious, enduring a challenging start with consecutive ducks in the first two games held in Mohali and Indore.

“Ek To Idhar Do Zero Hua Hai” Rohit Sharma’s Hilarious Chat With The Umpire After First Leg-Bye

In the decisive third T20I in Indore, a light-hearted incident unfolded when Rohit Sharma’s first run was erroneously called a leg bye, despite clear contact with the bat. In response, Sharma amusingly quipped to the umpire, saying, “Are Viru, Pahle wala thigh pad Diya the kya? Itna bad bat laga hai. Ek to idhar do zoo ho gaya hai.” He actually meant that he is already on two ducks, and lost the first run in Bengaluru to leg-byes.
