Indian team’s experienced bowler Umesh Yadav was born on 25 October 1987 in Nagpur. Umesh Yadav is the owner of property worth crores today but his childhood was spent in extreme poverty and struggle. His father worked in a coal mine and did not even have money to educate Umesh in a good college. Despite this, Umesh did not give up and made his dreams come true.
Umesh’s father is a resident of Deoria
Umesh’s father Tilak Yadav is originally from Deoria district of UP, but due to his job in the coal mine, he came to Nagpur from UP. Umesh’s family lived in Khaparkheda village in Nagpur. Most of the people in this village live, who work in the coal mines. His father wanted one of his children to study in college, but this could not happen due to poor financial condition. Umesh’s stature was good, due to which his father wanted to make him a police or army soldier.
Tried for government job many times, then made cricket a career
At the behest of his father, Umesh tried a lot for a government job, but he could not succeed in it. When Umesh could not clear the exam despite repeated attempts, he told his father about his dream of becoming a cricketer. Umesh, who had decided to make a career in cricket, left the tennis ball and started practicing with the leather ball. After playing with leather ball, Umesh started playing for Vidarbha.
Till that time, Umesh’s father also did not have enough money that he could afford Umesh’s cricket, but Umesh kept his cricket hobby without giving up and without excuse. The result of his insistence is that Umesh is the best bowler of Team India today.
Started with Ranji then got a place in Team India in 2010
Umesh Yadav, who played for Vidarbha, finally got a chance to play Ranji Trophy in 2008. In the first innings of the match, Umesh gave 75 runs and took 4 wickets. After which he got an opportunity to play with Delhi Daredevils in IPL, after that in 2010 he made his debut for the Indian team. Umesh has played 136 international matches for India so far and has taken 276 wickets.
