Even though the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hasn’t officially announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, rumors are spreading on social media about Rinku Singh’s potential selection. This speculation stems from Singh’s visit to Dharamsala, where the Indian Test team is gathered for the final match against England. While Singh isn’t part of the Test squad, it’s rumored that he was called up for a pre-T20 World Cup photoshoot with the team.
Rinku Singh Called By BCCI For T20 World Cup 2024 Photoshoot

While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hasn’t confirmed anything, Rinku Singh’s recent trip and his performances suggest that the rumors circulating on social media might hold some truth.
As the England Tests mark the last series for Team India before the T20 World Cup, it’s the perfect chance for the BCCI to organize a photoshoot with potential players for the big event.
Once the England series wraps up, players will dive straight into the two-month-long Indian Premier League (IPL) with their respective franchises. It’s worth noting that the BCCI selection committee won’t have the luxury of waiting until after the IPL to finalize the squad. The roster will be decided midway through the tournament.
Rinku Met Brendon McCullum In Dharamsala
While in Dharamsala, Rinku Singh was also photographed alongside England’s head coach, Brendon McCullum. Interestingly, McCullum previously served as the coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders before assuming his role with the England Test team.
