In a video posted by PUMA Cricket, Karthik asked Kohli about his favorite athlete besides a cricketer. “Who’s my favorite athlete apart from a cricketer?” Karthik inquired. Kohli jokingly responded, “Your wife,” prompting the wicketkeeper-batsman to reply, “That’s a great answer, for sure.”
After Kohli’s witty response, laughter erupted among Kohli, Karthik, Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj, and Rajat Patidar. Karthik confessed that Kohli’s answer caught him completely off-guard. He then asked his teammates for other possible answers, and names like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Michael Jordan were suggested.

Karthik later confirmed that his favorite sportsperson, other than a cricketer, is Swiss tennis legend Federer. For the unversed, DK’s wife, Dipika Pallikal, is India’s top female squash player.
