Having seen the line-up in the T20I series vs Zimbabwe and the first T20I vs Sri Lanka, it looks like Jaiswal and Gill will open the innings for India in the shortest format.

Jaiswal in his short career has already displayed his fearless attitude and ability to take on the bowlers right from the first ball. He did that in the series vs Zimbabwe and did the same in the first T20I vs Sri Lanka. Jaiswal scored 40 runs off just 21 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. He had an excellent strike rate of 190.48.

The most striking scene of his innings was when he smashed Maheesh Theekshana with a first-ball six on Saturday. He bowled a carrom ball to Jaiswal and he deposited it over long off for a huge six.
