In the ongoing third T20I, he was given a chance in place of Pant, who was rested for the game. However, Samson failed yet again while coming to bat at number 3. He played four deliveries and returned for a duck yet again. Fans trolled him for the two consecutive ducks when he got an opportunity to stake a claim in the playing XI.
