Yuvi further revealed that Dhawan has made some ‘really funny moves’ during his captaincy. Yuvi revealed a hilarious incident involving Dhawan and his Team India deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 2012 edition of the Duleep Trophy. He revealed:

Captaincy is going to be funny. Because I have played under Shikhar and he made some really funny moves. One of Shikhar’s favorite moves I remember is, we were playing against Central Zone and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was batting on 49. And Shikhar Dhawan called everyone inside the circle,”

He added:

“I was standing in the slips and asked him what happened. He replied that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is batting on 99, so he called everyone in the circle. So I told him it was not 99 but 49. Then he asked everyone to go back,”

Well, talking about that particular match, skipper Shikhar Dhawan had scored 121 runs off 200 balls while Yuvraj had slammed 208 runs off 241 balls. Apart from them, India’s deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar also went on to score 128 for Central Zone in the same match.
