Twitterati React After R Ashwin Dismissed Steve Smith For Duck

The star batsman of the Australian cricket team Steve Smith is one of the greatest Test cricketers and has had a great record against team India. In fact, with an average of 113.50 in 7 Tests, Smith has a great record when it comes to Boxing Day Tests at the MCG. However, Smith had the worst day at work today after he was dismissed for a duck.

Well, during Day 1 of the 2nd Test Steve was dismissed for a duck for the first time in his career against India. Smith became the victim of Ravichandran Ashwin, who gave India the much-needed breakthrough in the morning of Day 1.

It happened in the 15th over by R Ashwin, when he got the better of Steve Smith with a classic off-spin-delivery.

The delivery pitched around the middle and spun towards the leg, while Smith attempted to nudge the ball behind square. However, he failed miserably and Cheteshwar Pujara dived to his left at leg slip to complete the catch and Steve Smith suffered his first-ever duck against India, thanks to R Ashwin.

Also, this is the second time Steve Smith became the victim of R Ashwin in ongoing Ind vs Aus series. During the first innings of the 1st Test, Ashwin sent him back with only 1 run in his account.
