One of the major missings for India is their ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah. As per the latest update, Jasprit is set to be ruled out of the Asia Cup T20 tournament with a back injury, which would require some time to heal.A senior official of the BCCI told PTI, on the condition of anonymity, about the injury of Jasprit Bumrah. He revealed:

“Jasprit Bumrah has a back injury and will not play in the Asia Cup. He is our main bowler and we would like him to be back in action before T20 World Cup. WE can’t risk him in Asia Cup and the injury could aggravate,”

Besides Jasprit Bumrah, there is no Mohammed Shami in the pace attack with only Bhuvneshwar there as an experienced pacer. It has to be noted that, India is going to Asia Cup with only 3 genuine pacers in Bhuvi, Arshdeep Singh, and Avesh Khan.
