Suresh Raina Wrote A Beautiful Tweet For ‘Golden Girl’ PV Sindhu: India’s sensational badminton player PV Sindhu has once again made the whole country proud of her by scripting history. She has won a gold medal in the women’s singles final at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022.

PV Sindhu Scripted History

India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu India’s defeated Canada’s Mitchell Li in straight games to win the first individual Commonwealth gold of her career. During the thrilling clash, Sindhu dominated both games with her defensive playing style and left no space for the opponent to make a comeback into the game.

The historic gold moment of PV Sindhu has taken the whole internet by storm, with several celebrities and prominent people alongwith the fans taking to social media to celebrate the big moment with the ace shuttler.

Suresh Raina Hailed Sindhu

Amid the euphoric scenario, former Indian cricketer and World Cup hero Suresh Raina also took to his social media and posted a beautiful Tweet for PV Sindhu. In his Tweet, Suresh Raina hailed Sindhu as the ‘Golden girl’ and congratulated her on her new achievements. He wrote:

“India’s golden girl @PVsindhu1 hence proved her name once again by achieving her first ever gold medal at the #CWG2022. Congratulations on an enormous victory Sindhu, keep shining ✨🥇 #Cheer4India”

Sindhu produced something extraordinary for her first gold. “I had been waiting for this gold for a long time and finally I have got it. I am super happy. Thanks to the crowd, they made me win today,” said Sindhu after the final.

After her big achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to his Twitter and hailed her performance with a special Tweet. He wrote:

“The phenomenal @Pvsindhu1 is a champion of champions! She repeatedly shows what excellence is all about. Her dedication and commitment is awe-inspiring. Congratulations to her on winning the Gold medal at the CWG. Wishing her the best for her future endeavours. #Cheer4India”
