The incident took place during India’s innings 45th over when Jasprit Bumrah’s delivery hit Cameron Green’s head. Following this, the Australian all-rounder fell on the ground after facing the blow.
This is when worried Siraj left his bat and didn’t think much about his wicket as he rushed to check if Cameron is ok. Chloe-Amanda Bailey, an Australian Journalist lauded Mohammed Siraj for his selflessness as he took to his official Twitter handle and shared the clip of the incident.
