Umran Malik has become the talk of the town as he impressed one and all with his raw pace and amazing bowling spells in the recently-concluded 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Shaheen Afridi Took A Subtle Dig On Umran Malik

During the press conference, Shaheen was asked whether he wants to bowl like Umran Malik. Responding to this, Afridi took a subtle dig at Umran Malik and stated that pace is of no use without line and length.

Shaheen Afridi explained that swinging the ball is also as important to beat batters as the pace is. Afridi also revealed that he is working on increasing his speed so that he can become even more effective with his line, length, and swing. He said:

Speed se kuch nahi hota (speed is of no use). I haven’t thought about bowling so fast. I personally believe speed is of no use. If you don’t have line, length and swing, you can’t beat the batter easily. Nevertheless, I try to focus on my fitness so that my pace can also increase. Hopefully, I will be able to generate more pace and my line and length will also get better,”

Meanwhile, Afridi taking unnecessary dig at the young Indian talent didn’t impress the Indian fans, who are now trolling the Pakistani cricketer left, right and center.
