Social media has been buzzing with amazing birthday wishes and tributes for the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who o celebrated his 49th birthday on Sunday. Hailed as one of the greatest batters to play in the history of cricket, Tendulkar has been the hero and idol of millions of people around the world.
In a career spanning over 24 years, Sachin Tendulkar amassed 34,357 runs in international cricket across all the formats of the game. Tendulkar, who bid adieu to international cricket in 2013, was also the first batter to have smashed a double century in the ODI format of the game. The cricketer will be celebrating his special day with the Mumbai Indians’ squad in the bio-bubble as he is the mentor of the five-time IPL champions.
As the cricketer turned 49 today, wishes have been pouring in from all the corners of the world, with several cricketers, experts, and fans joining the bandwagon.
Among many, Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher also joined the bandwagon and penned a beautiful birthday wish for Master Blaster. In her birthday wish, the actress, who is a cricket enthusiast, took to her Facebook and hailed him as the greatest ever. She wrote:
