Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar heaped some rich praises on Team India for their stunning win over Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Women’s 50-over World Cup here at the Bay Oval on Sunday. A dominant display from Mithali Raj and her squad completely outplayed Pakistan Women in this clash to keep their ODI World Cup record against Pakistan intact with a third straight win.

After suffering a batting collapse in the morning, the Indian side staged a remarkable comeback riding on the fighting knocks of Pooja Vastrakar (67), Smriti Mandhana (52), and Sneh Rana (53*). Their batting performances were backed up by all-round bowling performance by team India as they got better of Pakistan by 107 runs.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and hailed the terrific performance of the India Women with a special Tweet. In his Tweet, Sachin praised Sneh and Pooja for rotating strike smartly and for converting 2s into 3s.

In another Tweet, Sachin Tendulkar also praised the spinners for their amazing show with the ball. He wrote:

“Brilliant win for #TeamIndia!
The partnership between Sneh & Pooja got us back in the game when we were 114/6. The best thing the two did was to rotate strike smartly & convert 2s into 3s & didn’t miss out on putting loose deliveries away.
Their mindset helped us win.”

He added: “I liked it when our spinners bowled slowly. The slower they bowled the more difficult it got. Hoping they continue to do the same in the rest of the matches.”
