Pakistan Cricket Board’s Latest Tweet On ‘Fool Proof’ Security Started A Meme Fest

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was once again left with a red-face after the New Zealand Cricket team called off their tour to Pakistan. Citing a security threat, the New Zealand cricket team abandoned its ongoing tour of Pakistan, without a ball being bowled.

The decision came out a few hours before the start of the first ODI match in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Even though Pakistan Cricket Board asserted that there was no security threat in their country but the New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White stated that the safety of cricketers is paramount and hence they called off the tour.

Later, PCB took to their official Twitter handle and shared a series of tweets alleging that New Zealand had “unilaterally” made the decision to call off their tour to Pakistan. PCB said that the security officials with the New Zealand team have been satisfied with the security arrangements made by the Pakistan government throughout their stay in Pakistan.

However, as soon as the tweet caught the attention of the netizens, PCB was brutally trolled by netizens for claiming the security arrangements were “foolproof.”

Here, check out the Tweet:

Yes, PCB misspelled foolproof to add salt to the wounds of Pakistan’s cricket board. Netizens were quick to notice the goof-up as they immediately started trolling the country’s apex-cricketing body for frequently misspelling terms and failing to learn from its mistakes. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling PCB.
