Former Indian cricketer and World Cup hero Gautam Gambhir posted a heart-winning Tweet after watching the recently-released movie Shershaah, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The movie has been produced under Karan Johar’s production house ‘Dharma Productions’ and has been directed by Vishnu Varadhan.

Shershaah is based on the life of Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil War in 1999 and was honored with the Param Vir Chakra, which is India’s highest military decoration award. The movie shows the journey of Captain Vikram Batra, from a little boy who aspired to join the Indian army to becoming the Kargil Hero. Kiara Advani is seen playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra’s fiance Dimple Cheema.

The movie also stars Shiv Panditt, Nikitin Dheer, Shataf Figar, Pranay Pachauri, Raj Arjun, Sahil Vaid, Abhiroy Singh, Pawan Chopra, and many others in pivotal roles.

The movie-makers and the actors have been receiving praises from all corners for the way they have showcased the life of Captain Vikram Batra. From celebrities to fans across the nation are lauding the work done by the actors in the movie. The life story of Captain Vikram Batra has inspired and has touched millions of hearts across the nation.
