People in Delhi are known for their swag and they always want to showcase that swag wherever they go. They take a lot of vanity in the fact of the matter that they are from Delhi and hence the much popular phrase, “Delhi su hun.” A showoff kind of thing happened during a Ranji game at the Palam ground in New Delhi.
Everyone was left perplexed and guessing when a car started to move round in the field of play during a Ranji match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Such Swag? The swagger who did this crazy gimmick on the cricket field is named Girish Sharma who trespassed into the Air Force Sports Complex, Palam in a WagonR.
Eminent cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina were all present in the match and they were all baffled to see a car taking rounds of cricket field. We know Delhi people carry a lot of ostentatious audacity but this was really beyond what qualifies as palatable.
The Ranji game was being played here since Feroz Shah Kotla had to host the first T20 of the ongoing 3 match series between India and New Zealand. But what happened here as Girish Kumar treated the cricket field like a ‘Gehri Route’ is indeed condemnable and at the same time quite funny. Later he came up with a clarification that he had lost his way and hence came to the field. (He should have thought of a better excuse at least
He ran his car over the pitch twice showing complete disrespect to the pitch and the fact that a game was being held there. Perhaps he thought its some schoolboys playing there and he could spread his swag all over.

Utterly Stupid! The play was resumed after a little halt caused by Mr Swagger and Twitter lost its cool to this uncalled act of a stupid populism perhaps. His intentions clearly were to create a ruckus and hence he drove past players and umpires several times. Well, we hope he was taught a lesson for his adventurism and this would never be repeated again. WHY SUCH SWAG BRO?
