The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, and his team are currently gearing up for the upcoming tour to England where the Men in Blue will play six Test matches, including the World Test Championship final against New Zealand, which will kickstart from June 18.

The Indian skipper is currently in quarantine in Mumbai ahead of India’s tour to England. On Saturday, Virat took to his Twitter and conducted a question-answer session with his fans on Instagram. And as expected, the cricketer was bombarded with questions ranging from professional to personal life.

Among many, a fan asked Virat Kohli to describe his bond with ‘captain cool’, i.e, MS Dhoni in two words. Virat, who has time and again, expressed his admiration for the former Indian skipper, came up with a heart-winning reply. Responding to the fan’s question, Virat replied: “Trust, Respect”

Here, check out the story:

Last year, during an interaction with R Ashwin in an Instagram live session, had expressed that MS Dhoni played a big role in grooming him to become the skipper of the national cricket team. He had said:

“I have always been inclined towards taking responsibility. After my debut for India, it was just about wanting to play, it was about being in the Indian XI all the time. Then, with your intrigue in the game, you start talking to the captain regularly. I was always in MS’ ears, discussing different tactics,”

Kohli added:

“I think he got a lot of confidence that I can do this after him. I think he played a big role in that (taking over the captaincy)”.
