Find Out The Salaries Of On-Field Umpires In IPL 2021

Umpires play a very important part in the smooth conduction of cricket matches however they do not get much appreciation that they deserve. However, with the increase in the sponsor list in the now-suspended IPL 2021 season, the salaries of the umpires also increased. As the season kickstarted amidst the pandemic, the umpires also had to undergo similar tests and quarantine periods like the players, and these are a few things that aren’t spoken of much.

Before the season began, the BCCI revealed the match fees and IPL umpires’ salaries for the 2021 season.

For your information, we should tell you the elite panel umpires will be getting Rs 1,98,000 per game while the development umpires will receive Rs 59,000 per match.

This year, the IPL umpires were sponsored by PayTm and after the end of this edition, each umpire will receive sponsorship money of INR 7,33,000.

Indian Umpires for IPL 2021:

Anil Chaudhary, C. Shamshuddin, Virender Sharma, Vineet Kulkarni, Yashwant Barde, Ulhas Gandhe, K.N. Ananthapadmanabhan, Nitin Menon, S. Ravi, Anil Dandekar, K Srinivasan, and Pashchim Pathak.

Foreign Umpires for IPL 2021: Richard Illingworth (Eng), Paul Reiffel (Aus), and Christopher Gaffaney (NZ)

Here, check out the basic salaries (per match) of the umpires in IPL 2021:

Anil Chaudhary – ₹1,98,000
C.Shamshuddin – ₹1,98,000
Virender Sharma – ₹59,000
K.N Ananthapadmanabhan – ₹59,000
S. Ravi – ₹1,98,000
Vineet Kulkarni – ₹1,98,000

K Srinivasan – ₹59,000
Pashchim Pathak – ₹59,000

For the unversed, Nitin Menon is the 4th Indian to be included in the elite panel of the ICC alongwith Richard Illingworth, Paul Reiffel, and Christopher Gaffaney. However, the others are from the elite panel-list of the BCCI.
