Legendary cricketer and Chennai Super Kings’ skipper MS Dhoni has been grinding hard ahead of the upcoming 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, which is set to commence from April 9. The legendary wicket-keeper batsman will be keen to leave a mark with his performance in what could be his final IPL season.

Notably, Dhoni and his yellow army endured their worst season in the IPL last year and ended 7th in the league stage. It was the first time that the franchise couldn’t reach the playoffs in the history of IPL. MS Dhoni too could not connect the ball to perfection in the previous IPL season. Dhoni was seen struggling in the middle and in one of the games, the weather conditions seemingly got the better of him.

Nevertheless, Thala is back and is sweating it out hard in the nets as the franchise has begun training session ahead of IPL.

Lately, a video of MS Dhoni’s practice session surfaced online and has been going crazily viral on social media. In the video Dhoni can be seen smashing some exotic shots off the spin bowlers. Amidst his knock, Dhoni smashed a monstrous six and left everyone stunned. The video of the same was shared by the franchise’s official Instagram handle.

“Let the whistles travel for 109, 114,……… metres! #WhistlePodu #Yellove,” CSK captioned the post.
