Indian skipper Virat Kohli was all praises for Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, both the cricketers who made their debut in the just-concluded series. Kohli was particularly very impressed with the performances of Suryakumar Yadav, whose batting performances helped team India win.
Both Ishan and Surya played two innings each in the just concluded 5-match T20I series against England. Ishan Kishan scored a brilliant 56 off 32 to help India win the 2nd T20I, which was also his debut game. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav gave a stunning performance and was given the ‘Man of the Match’ award in the 4th T20I. SKY also gave a stunning cameo in the 5th T20I.

In the 5th and final match last night, Suryakumar Yadav formed a partnership with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and gave a powerful performance, and scored 32 runs off 17 balls, smashing 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Later, after the match, the Indian skipper heaped praises on Suryakumar Yadav and said that the way he played opens up dimensions of possibilities for the rest of the batting order. Virat said:
“It has (Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan’s performances filled him with joy). Also how Shreyas batted in the last game and the responsibility he showed in the first game. I think the guys are really grabbing on to their opportunities and molding themselves into the roles we assign to them. Ishan was brilliant, but I was particularly pleased with Surya. The way he came out and played with so much clarity opens up the dimensions of possibilities for the rest of the batting order. And then Hardik with the ball kept coming back into the game,”
