Pragyan Ojha Gave A Fitting Reply To Rihanna’s Tweet On Farmers’ Protest: Pop singer Rihanna has taken the internet by storm after she tweeted in support of the ongoing farmers’ protest in India. Her tweet has brought global attention to the farmer’s protest in India, which has been going on for months now.

The Indian farmers have been asking for a rollback of the country’s new farm laws. Recently, on January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day in India, the protest turned violent in the national capital and the government decided to block the internet in Delhi and deployed heavy security at its borders.

On late Tuesday night, ‘Rihanna’ spiked up on the trending list on all the social media platforms after she tweeted in support of the farmers’ protest. She wrote:

“why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest“

Following Rihanna’s tweet, a number of international stars and activities including Greta Thunberg, Mia Khalifa, Amanda Cerny, and many others have come out in support of the farmer’s protest.

Meanwhile, a number of prominent Indian people and celebrities including the likes of Swara Bhaskar, Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chaddha, Diljit Dosanjh, and many others have come out and have given mixed reactions to the pop star’s tweet.

Among many, former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha, who has represented India in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs, and 6 T20Is also took to his Twitter and gave his opinion on the matter. In his tweet, Ojha stated that India is proud of its farmers and knows how important they are. He further advised Rihanna to stay away from matters involving his country. He wrote:

“My country is proud of our farmers and knows how important they are, I trust it will be addressed soon. We don’t need an outsider poking her nose in our internal matters,”
